Building stronger futures, together

Consortium & Partnerships

Complex projects bring together different capabilities. A strong partnership connects those capabilities through shared objectives and clear responsibilities.

Build the structure around the project

The appropriate collaboration model depends on location, scope, technical requirements and the proposed delivery route. A consortium, joint venture or specialist appointment should be considered in relation to these needs. The name of a partnership model alone does not define its responsibilities or commercial terms.

Complementary capabilities

Our partnership philosophy brings development thinking into dialogue with engineering, construction and local project knowledge. Each prospective collaboration needs a clear account of the capabilities contributed, the interfaces between parties and the resources required. Partner identities and project credentials should be verified before they are represented publicly.

  • Define the proposed scope and each party’s contribution.
  • Clarify contracting entities, governance and decision authority.
  • Coordinate technical interfaces, programme and information exchange.

From discussion to an agreed framework

A useful first conversation establishes the opportunity, location, expected role and current stage of the project. Detailed discussions can then address confidentiality, due diligence, risk allocation, responsibilities and commercial structure. Binding commitments arise only through the relevant agreements.
